Zionsville had a solid performance against Ben Davis on Monday evening. The girls team posted a 131-52 victory while the boys won 129-56. The girls picked up wins in the 200 yard medley and freestyle relays, the 200 yard freestyle and individual medley, the 50 yard freestyle, the 100 yard butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle, the 500 yard freestyle and the 400 yard freestyle relay. Alex Brennan was a top performer for the Eagles as she won four different events. Zionsville’s girls team improved to 7-1 with the victory.
Zionsville’s boys team also won in convincing fashion over the Giants. The boys picked up wins in the 200 yard medley and freestyle relays, the 50, 100, 200 and 500 yard freestyles, the 100 yard butterfly, backstroke, and breaststroke, and the 400 yard freestyle relay. The Eagles were led by Nick Torrance who won four events. Ian Boggs, Jared Hall and Thomas Wimmer each won three events. The Eagles improved to 4-1-1 with the win.
